The Referral Process The Referral Process

Making Referrals

  1. Introduce the prospect via email to support@goldfynch.com
  2. We confirm within 2 business days
  3. GoldFynch manages demos, pricing, terms, and the entire customer journey
  4. Final customer acceptance and pricing remain at GoldFynch’s discretion

Qualified Referrals

A referral qualifies when the prospect:

  • Was introduced directly by you
  • Has not contacted GoldFynch within the last 12 months
  • Isn’t already in our sales/support pipeline
  • Creates a paid account within 90 days
  • Completes two full billing cycles in good standing

Prior Contact Rules

Disqualified if in past 12 months they:

  • Contacted us (email/phone/form)
  • Attended a demo or created an account
  • Interacted with sales/support
  • Opened a support ticket

Does NOT disqualify them:

  • Website visits
  • General marketing emails
  • Being on an inactive mailing list

Calculation Formula

Referral Fee Formula:

(Month 1 + Month 2) ÷ 2 × 0.20
  • Based on actual invoices (including prorated usage)
  • Minimum payout: $50
  • No cap on earnings

Payment Terms

  • Paid within 30 days after the customer completes the second full billing month
  • W-9 required once annual payouts exceed $600*
  • Amazon gift cards available up to $500 (counts toward the $600 total)

Billing Cycles

  • GoldFynch bills at month-end
  • Signup month (partial month) does not count toward referral eligibility
  • Referral rewards use the first two full calendar months
  • Billing is pro-rated based on storage usage throughout the month

*Amounts above $600 annually must be paid via check/ACH/Zelle due to IRS rules.

Partner Responsibilities

Partners must:

  • Avoid false or misleading statements
  • Not act as GoldFynch agents/resellers
  • Avoid unapproved security/compliance claims
  • Not send sensitive or case data in referral emails
  • Follow CAN-SPAM and applicable data/privacy laws
  • Disclose referral relationships when required

Exclusions

We do not pay for:

  • Self-referrals
  • Referrals tied to your own organization
  • Prospects already in contact with GoldFynch
  • Customers who do not complete two full billing cycles

Confidentiality

Both parties will keep proprietary information confidential for 2 years after termination.

Term & Termination

  • Agreement term: 1 year, auto-renews annually
  • Either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice
  • Immediate termination for material breach
